Booties:
Ankle:
Using a closed edge cast on CO 29 sts ....COR....K 6 R....Drop and latch up every third row to form a 2x1 rib....Increase 1 st each side on the next two rows...COR ....Work lace or color pattern from chart over the next 5 r.........
Heel:
Push all needles to LHS of 0 up to HP....Push 1 needle on carriage
side to HP.....K 1 R...COL....Push 1 needle on carriage side to HP...K 1
R....COR....Repeat this until only 3 needles remain in
WP....Reverse the shaping by pushing 1 needle on the opposite side of
the carriage to FWP on each row until all needles on the RHS of 0 are in
WP...COR...( note it is extremely helpful to use claw weights when
shaping the heels and toes )....Push needles on LHS back to FWP...K 1 R
slowly....Make sure all latches are open before you do this or you will
drop stitches
Foot:
K 5 rows....
Toe:
Repeat as for heel...Cast off onto WY.....
Finishing:
Bring the sts with the WY attached together and graft the MY
sts together....Sew the side seam....
Second Sock:
Be sure to reverse the shaping for the toe and heel by using
the LHS sts to form them instead of the RHS....
Bonnet:
Cast on 71 stitches......K 6 r....Drop and latch up every third stitch to form a 2 x 1 rib........K 2 r.......Work lace or color pattern from chart over the next 8 rows.........K 28 r......Crochet Bind off 22 stitches on each side hanging the last stitch from this cast off onto the end stitches remaining in WP on the bed.......K 32 rows......Back stitch bind off........You will have a piece of knitting shaped like a “T”.....Sew the crocheted cast off stitches to the side of the back stitch bound off piece to form bonnet....attach ribbons for ties or some crocheted chains.......
Blanket:
Cast on 130 stitches with e-wrap cast on.....Knit 3 rows.....Drop and latch up the stitches on the third needle in from each end......Convert the first two end stitches.......Knit 3 rows........Drop and latch up the stitches on the sixth needle in from each end......Convert the first five end stitches.......Knit 3 rows........Drop and latch up the stitches on the ninth needle in from each end......Convert the first eight end stitches.......Knit 3 rows........ Drop and latch up the stitches on the twelfth needle in from each end......Convert the first eleven end stitches.......On this row starting at that twelfth stitch in from each end count over every third stitch and drop and latch up to form ribbing....Knit two rows......Work lace or color pattern from chart over the next eight rows making sure to also convert the twelve stitches in on each end at every third row.....Knit 244 rows making sure to continue to convert the twelve stitches in on each end at every third row......On row 245 mark the twelfth stitch in from each end with WY, convert the first eleven stitches in on each end.......Also on this row starting at the twelfth stitch in on each end mark every third stitch with WY.......Knit 3 rows....... Mark the ninth stitch in from each end with WY, convert the first eight stitches in on each end.......Knit 3 rows....... Mark the sixth stitch in from each end with WY, convert the first five stitches in on each end.......Knit 3 rows....... Mark the third stitch in from each end with WY, convert the first two stitches in on each end.......Drop and latch up all stitches marked with WY.......Do not go beyond WY markers when unraveling stitches.......Back Stitch BO......Wash and block.....
