( you could use any worsted weight yarn)
You only need a couple of ounces

Keyplate:
dot 3

Instructions:
*Cast on 15 needles with WY....K 4 r...Switch to MY and K 15 r.....Cast off center 6 stitches onto 2 r WY....Cast off 4 stitches on each side onto 2 r WY *.....Repeat from * to * for front....Sew one shoulder seam together with right sides together.....Hang all neckline stitches on to 14 needles(this includes hanging any extra spaces at shoulders onto needles)...Remove WY.....K 4 r......Drop and latch up every other stitch to form 1x1 rib.....Bind off loosely.......Bind off can't be too tight or it won't go over the dolls head....Sew other shoulder seam together.....Sew side seam of neckline ribbing.....For sleeve, rehang 4 stitches on either side of shoulder seam with the wrong side facing you.......rehang hem and K 10 r....Decrease stitches to 6 and K 3 more r......Drop and latch up every other stitch to form 1x1 rib......Bind off loosely......Rehang lower edge of front or back onto 15 needles....K 4 r......Drop and latch up every other stitch to form 1x1 rib.....Bind off loosely......Sew side seams and you are done.......
