Materials:
Milk Carton
Ribbon and Lace Scraps
Glue
Bits of colored Paper
Cut the milk carton at the depth you want your basket making sure to leave two long strips attached to either side. These will later form the handle. Fold the two strips over and slightly overlap them. Staple together. Decorate the sides of the basket with colored paper. Cover the handle by wrapping ribbon scraps around it. Glue some lace around the upper edge of the basket. Let dry. Fill it on Valentine's Day with cards and candy. At Easter, fill it with eggs and treats. They can be made for any occasion.
