Popsicle Stick
Cut a hole in one side for the entrance to your bird house. Just under the entrance
punch a hole with an awl and force the popsicle stick through the hole for a
perch. Place a couple of drops of glue around the perch to hold it in. Punch
more holes in the top of your carton and thread the pipe cleaner through them
to form a hanger. Cover the milk carton with a layer of glue. Cover the glued
carton with various torn pieces of paper, fabric scraps and feathers. Make sure
to completely cover the outside of the carton. Use the moss or shredded paper
for the roof of your house. If you wish before this dries glue a small bird
from the craft store to the opening of the house and let dry. Maybe place some
butterflies or bees on the roof too. Before you finish run a line of the colored
glue around the entrance and let dry.
