Tip For December 1999/January 2000: Contact Cards
When you're out with the kids in the car, do your parents have trouble finding the cell phone number?
Someone at work has asked one of your parents who their daycare provider is.
She wants to recomend you but can't find any your address or phone number. What should she do?
Is your telephone busy sometimes, but the cell phone is on?
Do your clients have the number in case they want to reach you?
Try these ideas.
Make a small card on your computer about the size of a regular business card. Depending on the program you use, you should be able to fit 6 or 8 to a page. Put your name, your business name, and all of your contact information on it. Add your web site address to the bottom and, if you have room, a cute logo. Cut out the cards, laminate them, and give one to each parent to carry in their wallet. Now they won't ever be without important numbers when they need them.
