Gauge:
18 st x 24 r = 4 inches
Keyplate: dot 2
Instructions:
Cast on 68, 72, 77stitches…..K 12 rows of WY……Switch to MC and do a closed edge
cast on(leave a one foot length to sew up seam later)…..K 14, 20 20 rows......Decrease
10 stitches evenly across the row every fourth row 6 times….8, 12, 17 stitches
should be left…K 1 more row……Cut a two foot length and draw this threw the stitches
before removing the hat from the machine…..Gather the stitches and stitch the
side seam....Do single crochet and lacy crochet
around lower edge......Sew a button to the top of the hat if you want.......Block
and enjoy!
