Materials:
Prepainted wooden heart
String or yarn for antenna
Pin back(optional)
White glue
Permanent black marker

If you can't find the prepainted hearts then get the unpainted ones and have the kids paint them the day before. Or they could color them with colored permanent markers. Then have the kids take a black marker and draw a line from the bottom pointy end of the heart straight up to the indented top of the heart. Have them color a bit of the pointy end solid black. Have them draw spots on each side of the line. Turn the heart over and have them glue two antenna to each side of the pointy end. Then have them glue a pin back to the center of the back of the heart. Or if they wish a loop of string to turn it into a necklace or an ornament. Makes a great Valentine's Day or Mother's day gift.
