Materials:
1-1/2 inch or larger rock
Wiggle Eyes
Felt, Craft Foam, Feathers and Beads
White Glue
Take the children on a nature walk to find the rock to make their new pet out
of. Have them glue on eyes and scraps of felt, foam or beads to decorate. How
about a feather tail and felt feet? When dry they can play with and pretend
to take care of their new pet rock. Make a large one as a gift for Mom, Dad
or Grandma to use as a paper weight on their desk.
