E-wrap cast on 7 stitches....Use a large claw weight instead of a weighted hem......K 50 rows......Back stitch bind off making sure to leave an 18 inch length of yarn at the end.......You need to knit 4 of these in rose and 4 in green.......Take a rose colored piece and run the 18 inch length down one long edge in a gathering or basting stitch......Gather slightly....Don't pull too tight......Fold over the short edge to meet with the gathered edge and stitch down.....Starting at this folded end roll the piece stitching down as you go.....Do not block this piece before you do this or try to get the non gathered edge to lay flat....You want it to roll a bit......You now have a rose flower.......Take a green colored piece, stitch it folding and twisting to form a T shape....Stitch this to the gathered bottom of the rose colored piece to form leaves....attach them to a hat, cardigan or purse for a special effect....Enjoy!.
