Leaving a 2 foot length at the start, e-wrap cast on 68 needles with the green yarn.....Hang hem...You should probably use elastic and not ravel cord for this as you will have to remove it and rehang it and it will be easier with elastic.......K 8 rows........Weigh down knitting with claw weights and carefully remove hem........Starting on the 5th stitch in from the left take your transfer tool and insert the single end into the stitch at the first row and the fourth row and bring these up to the seventh needle...do this at every 6th stitch all the way across the knitting......Make sure to use lots of claw weights to hold your knitting down while this manipulation is being done.......push all needles out to holding position...rehang hem.....Knit first row with needles in FWP....Knit 1 row slowly........K 2 more rows........Starting at the third stitch in from the right transfer every fourth stitch to one needle to the right....Leave empty needles in working position with latches open......K 3 rows.......Cast off on to 6 rows of waste yarn.....Remove from machine and set aside.....Remove hem.....Using the pink yarn e-wrap cast on 80 needles....Hang hem... You should probably use elastic and not ravel cord for this as you will have to remove it and rehang it and it will be easier with elastic........K 20 Rows...... Weigh down knitting with claw weights and carefully remove hem........Starting on the 5th stitch in from the left take your transfer tool and insert the single end into the stitch at the first row and the tenth row and bring these up to the top needle...do this at every 10th stitch all the way across the knitting......Make sure to use lots of claw weights to hold your knitting down while this manipulation is being done.......push all needles out to holding position...rehang hem.....Knit first row with needles in FWP....Knit 1 row slowly........K 4 more rows........Cast off onto 6 rows of Waste Yarn....Remove weighted hem.... Rehang this piece across 66 needles with knit side facing you....Evenly space out extra stitches.......Push this piece of knitting back against the bed of the machine.....Rehang the green piece, with purl side facing you, across the pink with one extra stitch at each end......Pull the green stitches through the pink ones manually or with a needle pusher, so that you only have one stitch on each needle....Rehang hem.... Using the pink color K 40 rows...... Cut the yarn end three times as wide as the knitting......Using a needle thread the yarn end threw all the live stitches hanging on the needles......remove work from machine......Gather these live stitches and stitch this opening closed........Remove waste yarn and elastic threads.......Continue with stitching up the side of the purse....After you stitch up the side of the purse then stitch up the pink petal piece separately.....Hide all thread ends....... Using a size H crochet hook make a chain stitch cord or use a silken cord from the fabric store to thread threw all the eyelet holes.......Make 1 five foot length and thread it threw the holes twice ending in the hole just before the one you started with.....Tie thread ends together and hide yarn ends.......Pull the cord from opposite sides to close the purse.....Enjoy
