Plastic Container Lids

Black Craft Paper
Precut a circle of black craft paper the same size as your container lid. Glue the paper to the lid in the center. Have an adult, using an awl or other sharp object, put four holes on each side of your lid through the paper and lid. Push a chenille stem up one hole across the paper and down into the opposite hole. Do this four times. Glue pom-poms and wiggle eyes to the black paper, between the chenille stems, for the spiders head and body. Bend the legs down as in the picture to finish forming your spider.
