Permanent Marker
Precut two oval shapes for the body, a head, four feet and a tail. Have the kids decorate the two oval shells with the permanent marker. Turn the decorated sides down, the plain side is facing up. place a wad of stuffing on one half of the shell. Place a rim of glue around the edge. Place the head, feet and tail around the edge and sticking out from the shell. Place more glue around the edge and, using clothes pins, attach the other shell piece to the one with the stuffing on it. With the marker, draw a face on the turtles head. Let dry over night before removing the pins.
