Child Care New Parents Letter
Welcome New Parents,
Welcome to our in home family child care. Posted on
this web site you will find a copy of our contract, our daily schedule and a list of house rules that we try to teach the children. We hope that you will feel comfortable enough with us to feel secure in the care your child will receive.
Here are a few hints about how we like to do things:
- We encourage special toys the children can bring for nap
time. Toys or blankets from home
not only ease the transition of starting a new daycare, but
help the child feel comfortable especially at
nap time.
- In the winter, all children wear non skid socks or
slippers in the house. In the summer we just go bare foot.
We Do Not wear shoes in the house.
- Always feel you can talk to my husband or
myself. We encourage open communication regarding the health and well being of the children and we welcome your suggestions.
- Always try to have extra clothes, a pair of play shoes
and a hat in your diaper bag.
- We do not drink soda, eat candy, watch Power
Rangers, or have toy guns of any kind around the
children. Please be respectful of this fact.
Again welcome to our daycare. We hope to be your
friends.
